LA KINGS TEAM NOTES:
HOME SWEET HOME
The Kings enter tonight riding a six-game home winning streak, dating back to Feb. 11 (6-0 W vs. PIT). Over those six games, the Kings have outscored their opponents 27-13 and have averaged a goals-for per game of 4.50, the second-highest home average since the resumption of the regular-season following the NHL All-Star Break on Feb. 6. With a win tonight, the Kings would extend their home winning streak to a season-long seven games. The last time the Kings had a seven-game home winning streak was from April 4 to April 27, 2013. There have been only nine different instances in franchise history that the team has had a home winning streak of at least seven games. The Kings are 8-2-0 in their last 10 home games. In 31 games at Crypto.com Arena so far this campaign, the team has established a record of 20-9-2 with 42 points and a points percentage of .677%, the fifth-best home points percentage in the league:
Best home points percentage this season
Team GP PTS% (record)
Boston Bruins 32 .859% (26-3-3)
Tampa Bay Lightning 33 .773% (23-5-5)
Toronto Maple Leafs 33 .758% (23-6-4)
Carolina Hurricanes 32 .750% (23-7-2)
LA Kings 31 .677% (20-9-2)

The Kings are also riding a five-game overall winning streak, dating back to Feb. 28 (6-5 SOW at WPG). Not only would a win tonight extend the team’s home winning streak into seventh game, but it would also extend their overall winning streak to six games for the first time since the 2021-22 campaign (Oct. 30 to Nov. 11, 2021). Since Feb. 6, the Kings have accumulated an overall record of 10-2-1 with 21 points and have outscored their opponents 52-36. LA’s .808 points percentage during that time places second in the league:
