HANG TEN!
- On March 9 at Buffalo, the Stars scored 10 goals in a game for just the second time since the club moved to Dallas (1993-94) and the ninth time in franchise history (1967-present). It’s been more than 14 years since the Stars reached double digits in goals in a game (10-2 W vs. NYR on Feb. 6, 2009) and have only netted more on one other occasion (15-2 W vs. WIN on Nov. 11, 1981).
- Nine different skaters recorded goals against the Sabres: Radek Faksa (x2), Wyatt Johnston, Joe Pavelski, Jamie Benn, Joel Kiviranta, Ryan Suter, Evgenii Dadonov, Roope Hintz and Mason Marchment.
- Furthermore, this marked just the third time in franchise history (1967-present) the franchise scored 10 goals in a road game. The others: Jan. 27, 1984 (10 at STL), Dec. 11, 1985 (10 at DET).
- The Stars became the first team to score 10 goals in a game this season and just the fifth different club in the past five seasons to score 10 goals in a game, joining the Canadiens (10 vs. FLA on April 29, 2022 & 10 vs. DET on Dec. 2, 2017), Penguins (11 vs. DET on March 27, 2022), Maple Leas (10 vs. DET on Feb. 26, 2022) and the Blackhawks (10 vs. PIT on Oct. 5, 2017).
