Rangers’ Miller Suspended Three Games for Unsportsmanlike Conduct

NEW YORK – New York Rangers defenseman K’Andre Miller has been suspended for three games, without pay, for unsportsmanlike conduct in an incident involving Los Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty during NHL Game No. 950 in New York on Sunday, Feb. 26, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 16:37 of the first period. Miller was assessed a match penalty.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Miller will forfeit $15,000. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
