NEW YORK – Vancouver Canucks defenseman Christian Wolanin has been fined $2,027.03, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for slashing Dallas Stars forward Ty Dellandrea during NHL Game No. 955 in Dallas on Monday, Feb. 27, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 8:19 of the third period.
The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
