GOLDEN KNIGHTS LAST GAME RECAP
March 11 – Vegas Golden Knights 4, Carolina Hurricanes 0
Jonathan Quick posted a 33-save shutout as the Vegas Golden Knights (40-20-6) earned a 4-0 victory against the Carolina Hurricanes (43-13-8) on Saturday night at PNC Arena. Less than five minutes into the contest, Jonathan Marchessault snuck a shot through Frederik Andersen to give Vegas a 1-0 lead. Late in the second, Reilly Smith broke in behind the defense and scored to make it a 2-0 lead. Paul Cotter extended the lead to 3-0 before Brett Howden’s empty-net goal sealed the 4-0 win for the Golden Knights.

Against the Blues
Sunday marks the third and final meeting between Vegas and St. Louis for the 2022-23 season. The Golden Knights hold an all-time record of 12-9-1 against the Blues in 22 total meetings. The last time the two teams faced off, four Vegas players had multi-point nights as the Golden Knights defeated the Blues, 5-4, in a shootout at T-Mobile Arena on Dec. 23. Vegas used goals from Alex Pietrangelo, Mark Stone, Michael Amadio and a late goal from Chandler Stephenson to send the game into overtime. After a scoreless extra session, Stone secured the two points for Vegas with a goal in the shootout.
