Jonathan Quick posted a 33-save shutout as the Vegas Golden Knights (40-20-6) earned a 4-0 victory against the Carolina Hurricanes (43-13-8) on Saturday night at PNC Arena. Less than five minutes into the contest, Jonathan Marchessault snuck a shot through Frederik Andersen to give Vegas a 1-0 lead. Late in the second, Reilly Smith broke in behind the defense and scored to make it a 2-0 lead. Paul Cotter extended the lead to 3-0 before Brett Howdenā€™s empty-net goal sealed the 4-0 win for the Golden Knights.
