RECAP/NOTES: Despite playing with only four defensemen for the majority of the game, the Rangers got back to their winning ways with a 5-2 victory over the Kings on Sunday night at MSG. New York built a 3-0 lead and then added two goals in the third to cap off the night. In the win, Vincent Trocheck scored two goals and added an assist for his second three-point game of the season (Oct. 29 at DAL). Ben Harpur (28:04) and Niko Mikkola (25:34) tallied career-highs in ice time.

RANGERS RUNDOWN

  • The New York Rangers visit the Philadelphia Flyers for the first game of a back-to-back, at Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday night (7:30 PM ET – TV: MSG 2, TNT – Radio: ESPN 1050 AM). In the first half of back-to-backs this season, the Blueshirts are 6-3-2.
