NHL Preview: New York Islanders (30-25-7) at Winnipeg Jets (35-23-1)

Noah Dobson scored on the power play and Adam Pelech found the back of the net with less than five minutes remaining to bring the New York Islanders within one, but they fell to the Los Angeles Kings, 3-2, Friday night at UBS Arena. Ryan Pulock tallied his 17th assist of the season, and Ilya Sorokin made 25 saves on 28 shots as the Islanders fell to 0-1-0 in their two-game season series against the Kings
