THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
• A win today would give the Sabres three straight home wins against the Oilers for the first time since they defeated Edmonton in three consecutive home contests from Feb. 15, 2007 to Jan. 3, 2012.
• A win today would also give Buffalo 33 wins on the season, one more than they earned in 82 games in 2021-22. Buffalo last earned 33 or more wins in 2018-19 (33).
• Rasmus Dahlin has totaled 15 points (1+14) in his last 15 games and is one assist away from becoming the first Sabres defenseman since Phil Housley in 1989-90 (60) to record 50 or more assists in a single season.
• With an assist, he would join Housley and John Van Boxmeer as the only defensemen in franchise history to reach 50 assists in a single season.
• Tage Thompson has recorded 32 points (16+16) in his last 28 games, including 13 points (7+6) in his last nine games.

• In his last nine games, Jack Quinn has recorded nine points (4+5).
