Saturday marks the fourth game of a five-game homestand (Oct. 27-Nov. 8; 2-1-0), which is tied for Washington’s longest homestand of the season (also Jan.3-Jan. 13). The Capitals are 31-13-1-6 all-time vs. Columbus and 7-1-1 in their last nine games against the Blue Jackets. Last season, the Capitals won the season series with Columbus 3-0-1. T.J. Oshie (3g, 1a), Nick Jensen (2g, 2a), Evgeny Kuznetsov (1g, 3a) and Dylan Strome (0g, 4a) led the Capitals with four points in four games against the Blue Jackets in 2022-23.
