TODAY’S GAME: The Anaheim Ducks begin a four-game road trip tonight when they visit the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena (3:30 p.m. PT, TV: Bally Sports SoCal, AUDIO: Ducks Stream). The Ducks are in the midst of seven games in 12 nights (game 3), while tonight continues a stretch of five straight games Anaheim will face an Eastern Conference opponent. The Ducks continue their nine-game October schedule. Following tonight’s game, the Ducks will continue the four-game trek Thursday, Oct. 26 at Boston at TD Garden (4 p.m. PT) before visiting Philadelphia on Saturday, Oct. 28 (10 a.m. PT) and Pittsburgh on Monday, Oct. 30 (4 p.m. PT).

DUCKS-BLUE JACKETS: Anaheim and the Columbus Blue Jackets open a two-game season series tonight at Nationwide Arena. The Ducks are riding a four-game win-streak vs. the Blue Jackets, winning eight of their last 10 games. BLUE JACKETS’ BUSY WEEK AHEAD
The Blue Jackets swept their first back-to-back set of the season last week, earning a 3-1 win over Calgary on Friday and 5-4 overtime win at Minnesota on Saturday. The last time the club swept a home-road back-to-back set was Jan. 28-29, 2021, defeating Florida 3-2 in a shootout before downing Chicago 2-1. The club plays four games over the next seven days, with two at home (Oct. 24 vs. ANA and Oct. 28 vs. NYI) and two on the road (Oct. 26 at MTL and Oct. 30 at DAL). Saturday’s win at Minnesota began a stretch of seven-of-11 games played away from Nationwide Arena through Nov. 12. The club also visits Montreal (Oct. 26), Dallas (Oct. 30), Washington (Nov. 4), Florida (Nov. 6), Detroit (Nov. 11) and the NY Rangers (Nov. 12).

The Blue Jackets outshot Minnesota 54-28 in Saturday’s victory.
