ARIZONA COYOTES NOTES:

3 HARD LAPS
• Arizona enters tonight on a season-high 7-game point streak (4-0-3), good for the second-longest active point streak in the NHL. The last time the Coyotes had an 8+ game point streak was an 11-0-1 run from 2/4/12 – 2/28/12

• Clayton Keller looks to register a multi-point game for the fourth consecutive road game. After previously doing that in 2017-18, he’d join Dale Hawerchuk (3x), Dave Babych (2x) and Paul MacLean (2x) as the only players in Coyotes/Jets franchise history to record 2+ points in four or more consecutive games multiple times

• Tonight marks Arizona’s final road game of the month before starting a four-game homestand tomorrow. The Coyotes have four separate 4-game homestands the rest of this season

In the third, Andrew Mangiapane would redirect a Noah Hanifin pass home and the Flames battled back to tie the game for the third time. Shortly after, Michael Stone would tee up a slap shot that zipped past Halak to give the Flames their first lead of the night. Mika Zibanejad would respond for New York later in the frame, and the two teams were deadlocked through 60 minutes of play. In overtime, the Rangers would score 1:37 in to win 5-4.

SATURDAY NIGHT’S ALRIGHT FOR A FIGHT:
Weekends have been kind to Calgary with the Flames going 9-2-2 on Saturday night tilts. The Flames have outscored opponents 52-40 on Saturday’s and their last clash they tied a season-high with seven goals in Buffalo. Dating back to November 12th, the Flames have won their last four home ice games on Saturday’s beating the Lightning (6-3), the Canucks (3-2), Washington (5-2) and Winnipeg (3-2). Nazem Kadri currently leads the Flames with seven goals scored on Saturday night games, followed by Lindholm and Toffoli with five each and Mangiapane with four.

PENALTY KILL PRODUCTION:
With Elias Lindholm’s shorthanded goal on Thursday night, the Flames now have six on the season, tying them for the sixth-most in the NHL. Dillon Dube leads the way with two short-handed tallies, while Trevor Lewis, Mikael Backlund, Blake Coleman and now Elias Lindholm have also tallied on the penalty kill for the Flames. Calgary is one PK marker away from matching their total from last season (7) when they recorded the 12th most in the league.

DOME SWEET DOME:
The Flames have made the Scotiabank Saddledome a tough environment for New York and have knocked off the Rangers in their last three trips to Calgary. The last time the Rangers travelled to the YYC, the Flames won 6-0 with Jacob Markstrom making 22 saves on that night. Calgary is in the midst of a brief three-game home stand with the Flames taking on the Flyers on Monday afternoon.
