MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has signed forward Nikolina Milić to a seven-day contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.

Milić, a 6-3 rookie forward, was originally signed by Minnesota on May 6 to a hardship exception contract and released on June 23. The 28-year-old started in her past three games for Minnesota and has appeared in 17 regular season contests where she averaged 6.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 14.4 minutes per game. On the June 12 contest against the Indiana Fever, Milić led all scorers with a season-high 23 points, the most by a Lynx reserve since Candice Wiggins had 25 at Tulsa on July 10, 2012.

Milić will be available for tonight’s game against the Chicago Sky. Tipoff is at 5:00 p.m. CT and will broadcast locally on Bally Sports North and nationally on CBS Sports Network.
