Lightning acquire Forward Tanner Jeannot from Nashville

Tampa Bay – Vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois announced today that the Tampa Bay Lightning have acquired forward Tanner Jeannot from the Nashville Predators in exchange for defenseman Cal Foote, the Lightning’s first-round pick in 2025 (Top 10 protected), their second-round selection in 2024, and their third, fourth, and fifth-round picks in 2023.

This season, Jeannot, who stands at 6’2″ and weighs 208 pounds, has appeared in 56 games for the Predators, registering five goals, 14 points, and 85 penalty minutes. With 213 hits, he leads Nashville and all forwards in blocked shots with 51.

The native of Estevan, Saskatchewan, has played 152 NHL games, all with Nashville, scoring 34 goals and 62 points while committing 217 penalties. In the 2021 and 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Jeannot also participated in nine career playoff games and had two assists.

Jeannot signed with the Predators as a free agent after going undrafted.
