CHICAGO – Prior to today’s series finale vs. Kansas City, the Chicago White Sox placed right-handed pitcher Mike Clevinger on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to May 18) with right wrist inflammation.
Clevinger is 3-3 with a 4.56 ERA (24 ER/47.1 IP) and 40 strikeouts in nine starts this season, his first with the White Sox.
The White Sox will make a corresponding roster move prior to tomorrow night’s series opener at Cleveland.
