GLENDALE, Ariz. – Prior to tonight’s spring training game at Seattle, the Chicago White Sox made the following nine roster moves:
· Optioned OF Blake Rutherford to Class AAA Charlotte;
· Optioned RHP Jason Bilous and LHP Yoán Aybar to Class AA Birmingham;
· Reassigned RHPs Kade McClure and Emilio Vargas, LHP Hunter Schryver, Cs Xavier Fernández and Carlos Pérez and INF José Rodríguez to minor-league camp.
With the moves, the White Sox have 50 players remaining in camp: 27 pitchers, five catchers, 10 infielders and eight outfielders.
