CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox have agreed to terms with all 20 of their selections from the 2021 First-Year Player Draft.
The White Sox also agreed to terms with five undrafted free agents:
- Right-handed pitchers Zach Cable (Oklahoma State University), Everhett Hazelwood (University of Kansas) and Kohl Simas (San Diego State University);
- Left-handed pitcher Garrett Schoenle (University of Cincinnati);
- Catcher Nick Thornquist (University of Texas-San Antonio).
Simas is the son of former White Sox pitcher Bill Simas, who appeared in 308 major-league games with the club from 1995-2000.
