De León, 30, pitched in nine games (4 starts) for the Saints this season, going 0-2 with a 3.62 ERA (27.1 IP, 11 ER), one save, 12 walks and 26 strikeouts. The Isabela, Puerto Rico native was signed by the Twins as a minor league free agent last December and has pitched in parts of five major league seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Tampa Bay Rays and Cincinnati Reds, going 4-1 with an 8.44 ERA (48.0 IP, 45 ER), 35 walks and 67 strikeouts in 22 games (6 starts).

Alcala made 10 relief appearances for the Twins, going 0-1 with a 6.46 ERA (15.1 IP, 11 ER), eight walks and 12 strikeouts.
