MLS Preview: Minnesota United FC (4-5-3) at FC Dallas (6-2-4)

Minnesota United is unbeaten in five straight matches against FC Dallas (W3 D2) after losing five of the first seven MLS meetings. Minnesota United has only one longer active unbeaten run, going six straight without defeat against San Jose.

FC Dallas saw its nine-match unbeaten run (W6 D3) end with a 2-1 defeat at Vancouver on Wednesday. Dallas returns home, however, where its won five consecutive matches, its longest home winning streak in a single season since winning six in a row at home in 2015 (including playoffs).

Minnesota United ended a three-match losing streak with a 1-1 home draw against the Galaxy on Wednesday. The Loons have also lost three straight on the road, winning just one of their last eight away from home (D2 L5, including playoffs).

Paul Arriola scored FC Dallasā€™ only goal against Vancouver on Wednesday, his third straight game with a goal, the first time heā€™s scored in three straight MLS matches in his career. Arriola had scored in consecutive matches twice before in his career, with D.C. United in 2018 and 2019.

Robin Lod scored an 87th minute equalizer against the Galaxy on Wednesday. Eight of Lodā€™s 14 MLS goals since the start of the 2021 season have been in the 75th minute or later.
