Scene Setter
The Winnipeg Jets start a four-game Eastern Conference road trip on Thursday when they visit the Columbus Blue Jackets for the only time this season. The Jets ended a five-game home stretch with a 3-2 shootout win against the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday night, which extended Winnipeg’s winning streak to three games. After Thursday’s game, the Jets have two days off before playing the New Jersey Devils on Sunday night.

Recap: Mark Scheifele and Pierre-Luc Dubois scored in the shootout to lift the Jets past the Kraken 3-2 on Tuesday. Blake Wheeler opened the scoring in the second period, while Dubois tied the game 9:39 into the third period. David Rittich made 27 saves to win his fourth consecutive start. Adam Lowry paced the Jets with five blocked shots.
