THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
• Tonight’s matchup is the third of four games the Kraken will play against the Canucks this season and the final one that will be played in Seattle. The teams will next meet on April 4 in Vancouver. The Kraken are looking for their first-ever win against the Canucks.

• The Kraken have not allowed a power-play goal for four consecutive games going a perfect 8-for-8 during that span. If they were to remain perfect on the penalty kill tonight, it would mark the second time this season that they did not allow a power-play goal for five or more straight games. The team previously went six straight games from Oct. 29 to Nov. 11 without allowing a powerplay goal.

• Entering play Tuesday, the Kraken led the Pacific Division in points percentage (.641) and ranked second with 59 points. The team’s plus-22 goal differential this season also tied for the best mark the Pacific Division entering play Tuesday and was tied for ninth in the NHL.

• With 46 games played, the Kraken have already matched their win total (27) from the 2021-22 season. They enter tonight’s game one point shy of matching their total (60) from last year.

• Since the start of the New Year, the Kraken are leading the league in wins (nine, tied), points (19) and goals (49). Their 3.08 goals for per game are the second-most in the league during that span, and they are one of only three teams (Edmonton, New Jersey) to be averaging four or more goals per game in 2023.
