  • Auston Matthews recorded the primary assist on Bunting’s power play goal and the primary assist on Nylander’s goal. Matthews has posted 31 assists this season, surpassing 30 or more assists on four occasions during his NHL career. Matthews has posted four points (1G, 3A) through his last two games. Matthews recorded his fifth multi-assist game of the season and his 15th multi-point game of the season.
  • David Kämpf scored for Toronto at 14:53 of the third period. Kämpf posted his fifth goal of the season. Kämpf registered seven hits during Saturday’s game, a single-game NHL career-high.
  • Rasmus Sandin registered the secondary assist on Bunting’s power play goal and the secondary assist on Kämpf’s goal. Sandin has posted four points (1G, 3A) through his last two games. Sandin registered his fifth multi-point game of the season.
  • Joseph Woll stopped 29 of 30 shots he faced in Toronto’s win. Woll earned his first win on home ice.

TONIGHT’S STORYLINES
The Maple Leafs are scheduled to take on the Chicago Blackhawks tonight in the second of two matchups between the clubs this season. Toronto won their first meeting of the 2022-23 campaign against Chicago 5-2 on February 15th at Scotiabank Arena. Toronto has won three-consecutive games against Chicago.
