LAST GAME: Nov. 2, 3-2 loss vs Los Angeles: The Kings led 3-0 lead by the game’s midway point courtesy goals from Danault, Grundstrom and Kopitar en route to a third consecutive regulation victory in Ottawa for the first time in franchise history and a 3-2 win over the Senators at Canadian Tire Centre. Kempe provided a game-high two points (two assists) on a night that saw Kubalik and Norris reply for the home side. Former Senator Talbot made 24 saves to earn the win in goal for Los Angeles. Former King Korpisalo made 35 saves in a losing effort for Ottawa. With the victory, Los Angeles improved to 5- 0-0 through five games this season as visitors.
