GOLDEN KNIGHTS LAST GAME RECAP
March 3 – Vegas Golden Knights 4, New Jersey Devils 3 SO
Adin Hill made 47 saves and Jonathan Marchessault had three points (2-1—3) as the Vegas Golden Knights (37-19-6) skated to a 4-3 shootout win against the New Jersey Devils (40-15-6) on Friday night at T-Mobile Arena. Midway through the opening frame, Marchessault buried the game’s first goal to put the home team ahead, 1-0. Jesper Bratt and Dawson Mercer each found the back of the net before before the horn to give New Jersey a 2-1 edge through 20 minutes. In the second, Marchessault scored again to level the score at 2-2. In the third, Jack Eichel put the home team ahead but an answer from Miles Wood meant the Golden Knights and Devils were heading to overtime. The extra session passed without a goal to set the stage for Shea Theodore’s shootout winner in the fourth round to give Vegas the victory.

In their last meeting, Vegas edged Montreal 6-4 with goals from Nicolas Hague, Reilly Smith (2), Keegan Kolesar, Nicolas Roy, and Jonathan Marchessault. The Golden Knights will look to sweep their season series with the Canadiens for the second consecutive season with a win on Sunday.
