Logan Couture (1g, 1a), Tomas Hertl (2g, 0a) and Kevin Labanc (0g, 2a) recorded multi-point outings and Kaapo Kahkonen earned a 28-save shutout. Montreal is playing the first game of a four-game Pacific division swing, with upcoming contests at Los Angeles (Mach 2), Anaheim (March 3) and Vegas (March 5).
