It marked their fourth comeback win of the season – only the Devils and Golden Knights have more (both w/ 5). Four different players lit the lamp for Dallas, including captain Jamie Benn (1-1—2) and forwards Jason Robertson (1-0—1), Evgenii Dadonov (1-0—1) and Mason Marchment (1-0—1). Benn’s goal was the 16th shorthanded tally of his career, giving him at least one shorthanded goal in each of the past three seasons. Robertson extended his point streak to two games (1-2—3), Dadonov scored for the second consecutive game (2-1—3) and Marchment pushed his point streak to three consecutive games (2-1—3). TONIGHT’S GAME: The Stars close out their first set of back-to-backs this evening against the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Place. (7:30 p.m. CT, Bally Sports Southwest Extra, The Ticket 96.7-FM/1310-AM). One of three meetings against the Oilers, this will be the only time Dallas visits Edmonton during the regular season. The final two matchups will take place at American Airlines Center on Feb. 17, 2024 and April 3, 2024. Following tonight’s game, the Stars will conclude their three-game road trip on Saturday night in Vancouver.
