After playing a schedule heavy in-home games, the Blue Jackets keep their travel bags packed over the month of March. The club is in the middle of a stretch of 12-of-15 games away from Nationwide Arena from February 26 through the end of March. The Jackets kicked off a season-long five-game road trip on Tuesday at San Jose before making stops at Los Angeles (Thursday), Anaheim (Friday), Las Vegas (Sunday) and Washington (March 21). Columbus plays five games over an eight day stretch on the road trip and will complete its 14th of 17 back-to-back sets of the season at Anaheim on Friday. COMEBACK JACKETS
The club picked up its 10th comeback victory of the season (four by multiple goal deficits) with a 6-5 overtime victory over the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday. CBJ have come-from-behind to win in five of their last eight victories after trailing 1-0 in a 6-5 OT win on Tuesday, 2-0 and 3-2 in a 5-3 win vs. San Jose (Jan. 21), 2-1 in a 3-2 OT win at Edmonton (Jan. 25), 2-0 in a 4-3 win at Toronto (Feb. 11) and 1-0 in the 3-1 win vs. Winnipeg. The team set a franchise record in 2021-22 by coming back at some point in a game in 23 of its 37 wins (6th in the NHL).

POWERING UP
CBJ finished 0-for-2 on the power play on Thursday and had their six-game power play goal streak snapped in the defeat. It was tied for the third-longest streak of games with a PPG in club history (fifth time). The Ducks fell to the New York Islanders 6-3 Wednesday night at Honda Center. Cam Fowler earned his 33rd assist, tying his career-high in points (9-33=42) and assists set in 2021-22 (76 games). Kevin Shattenkirk scored a career-tying two goals, netting his third and fourth goals of the season. His sixth career multi-goal game was his first since Dec. 19, 2021 w/ TBL @ EDM (2-0=2). Max Jones scored his sixth goal of the campaign 25 seconds into the game, setting a new career-high in single-season points (5-8=13). With the assist, he now has points in back-to-back games (1-1=2). Trevor Zegras recorded his team-leading 36th assist and 57th point. He has tallied 2-6=8 points his last eight games. TONIGHTā€™S GAME: The Anaheim Ducks continue an eight-game homestand spanning 16 days tonight vs .the Columbus Blue Jackets at Honda Center (7 p.m. PT, TV: Bally Sports West AUDIO: Ducks Stream). Anaheim enters tonight with points in three of the last four contests (1-1-2), eight of their last 10 games (5-2-3) and nine of the last 12 overall (5-3-4).
