MLS Preview: New York Red Bulls (7-12-8) at New York City (6-10-12)

The New York Red Bulls won each of their first two visits to Yankee Stadium but have managed just one win in their eight visits since. New York City FC has won six of those eight meetings, including three of the last four.

New York City FC has won one of its last eight regular-season home matches (D4 L3). New York City FC has dropped points in eight of its 13 home league games this season (W5 D5 L3), having only failed to win more home matches in each of its first two MLS seasons (11 in 2015, 9 in 2016).

At least one New York Red Bulls player has scored seven goals in every full season in team history (excluding shortened 2020 season).
