MLS Preview: New York City FC (4-3-3) at Charlotte FC (2-5-3)

Charlotte FC won both of its meetings with New York City FC last season. recording a 3-1 away win in August and a 1-0 home win in September. Charlotte FC was one of two teams, along with the Philadelphia Union (3 wins, including playoffs), to record multiple wins against New York City FC last season.
