MLS Preview: Inter Miami FC (5-8-0) at CF Montréal Impact (5-8-0)

The lone meeting between CF Montreal Impact and Inter Miami FC in Canada was a 2-2 draw in August 2022. Since that match, Inter Miami FC has played 23 regular season games without drawing any of them (W11 L12) while CF Montreal Impact has drawn just one of its 23 since W13 D1 L9).

After two straight road losses in league play, CF Montreal Impact returns home, where its won six of its last seven regular season matches (L1), including the last three in a row, all with clean sheets. Inter Miami FC’s long goal against Orlando City SC on Saturday came from outside the box as the Herons managed just 12 touches in the Orlando City SC penalty area. Inter Miami FC has averaged just 16.5 penalty area touches per match this season, only CF Montreal (15.7) has averaged fewer.
