MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has waived guards Kiana Williams and Stephanie Watts.

During the 2022 WNBA season, Williams played three games on a hardship contract with the Seattle Storm and later signed a seven-day contract with the Connecticut Sun. She was selected in the 2021 WNBA Draft by the Seattle Storm as the 18th overall pick.

Watts was originally selected as the 10th pick of the 2021 WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks. She later played that season in six games for the Chicago Sky and averaged 0.5 assists and 3.7 rebounds in 14.0 minutes per game.
