Lynx Waive Chloe Bibby and Moon Ursin

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has waived rookie forward Chloe Bibby and guard Moon Ursin.

Bibby, a 6-2 forward, had one Lynx preseason appearance where she contributed four points, one rebound and one steal. The Maryland graduate averaged 12.5 points and 5.7 rebounds during her two seasons with the Terps. Earning All-Big Ten Second Team honors in 2022 and an honorable mention in 2021, Bibby finished her five-year career with 1,373 points, 674 rebounds and 44 blocks between her two seasons at Maryland and three seasons at Mississippi State. 

Ursin, registered three rebounds and two assists in her one Lynx preseason game appearance. The 5-6 guard finished her graduate year at Tulane University averaging a team-high 14.1 points and 8.5 rebounds while adding 3.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game earning First Team All-ACC honors. She transferred to Tulane after a four-year stint at Baylor University where she started all 31 games in her senior season and averaged 12.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game, earning her All-Big 12 Second Team honors.
