MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has signed guard Yvonne Turner and forward Nikolina Milić to hardship exception contracts. Per team policy, terms of the deals were not released.

Turner, a 5-10 guard, appeared in two preseason games with Minnesota where she scored a game-high 15 points, with 13 collected during the fourth quarter stretch, on the May 1 victory over the Las Vegas Aces. On April 27, she registered 12 points, connecting on a perfect 3-of-3 from the field and 6-of-7 from the free throw line, two assists, two rebounds and one steal. In her most recent WNBA campaign in 2019, the University of Nebraska graduate saw action in 29 games (14 starts), averaging career bests of 6.4 ppg, 2.8 rpg and 2.3 apg in 20.5 mpg.

Milić, a 6-3 forward, is making her WNBA debut by joining Minnesota and previously played for Hungarian club KSC Szekszárd this winter. In the domestic league she registered 17.6 points on 57.1% shooting, 6.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 2.0 steals per game during the regular season across 13 games. During the EuroLeague regular season, she appeared in 10 games where she tallied 16.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 0.9 assist, and 1.3 steals.
