Los Angeles, CA The Los Angeles Dodgers have recalled infielder/outfielder Hyeseong Kim, while placing Tommy Edman on the injured list due to right ankle inflammation, retroactive to April 30.

Kim Joins Dodgers After Strong Triple-A Performance

Kim, 26, has appeared in 28 games for Triple-A Oklahoma City, batting .252 with five home runs and 19 RBI. The South Korean standout joined the Dodgers this offseason after an eight-year career in the Korean Baseball League, where he slashed .304/.364/.403 while racking up 37 home runs and 211 stolen bases.

Kim officially signed with Los Angeles on January 3, 2025, adding versatility and international experience to the Dodgers’ roster.

Edman Heads to Injured List

Now in his second season with Los Angeles, Edman has totaled 14 home runs in 67 games for the Dodgers. Across seven MLB seasons—split between the Cardinals (2019-2023) and Dodgers (2024-)—he has slashed .263/.316/.413, with 67 home runs and 266 RBI.

A former Stanford Cardinal, Edman was originally selected by St. Louis in the sixth round of the 2016 MLB Draft.
