ATLANTA, GA – The Atlanta Dream signed Australian guard Kristy Wallace, the organization announced today.

The 5-11 guard was drafted by the Dream with the No. 16 overall pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft out of Baylor despite suffering an injury shortly before the conclusion of her senior season. After her rehabilitation process, Wallace returned to Australia to play in the WNBL, but suffered another injury in just her second game back on the court.

In her first season back from injury, Wallace has averaged 9.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in eight games so far this season with the Southside Flyers of the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL). She was named to the Australian Opals’ roster ahead of the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup in 2021, helping her national team claim its second consecutive bronze medal at the tournament in October.
