LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to terms with 30 international players, including top international prospects Samuel Muñoz and Accimias Morales. In total, the Dodgers signed 15 pitchers, three catchers, nine infielders and three outfielders.
Muñoz, 17, is the No. 7 rated international prospect by MLB.com. The Santo Cristobal, Dominican Republic native is one of the top teenagers of the 2022-2023 class and the fourth-ranked prospect out of the Dominican Republic. The left-handed hitting prospect has received high marks for his advanced approach and power.
Morales, 17, is the No. 37th rated international prospect and the No. 2 pitching prospect in the 2022-2023 international signing class according to MLB.com. The right-handed pitcher from Maracay, Venezuela is one of 15 Venezuelans to sign with the Dodgers this year and has earned high marks for his size and pitch-ability.
