Devils’ Tatar Fined for High-Sticking

NEW YORK – New Jersey Devils forward Tomas Tatar has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for high-sticking Carolina Hurricanes forward Sebastian Aho during Game 3 of the teams’ Second Round series in New Jersey on Sunday, May 7, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 12:20 of the first period. Tatar was assessed a minor penalty for high-sticking.

The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
