The 2022 NHL Gaming World Championship continued this past weekend with live stream action for Semifinal Console Play. Three players for both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X consoles advanced to the Console Finals — check out the ‘Weekend Results’ below to learn more about each player.

A PS5 bracket stacked with experienced GWC veterans, headlines Week Two of live NHL GWC North America Semifinal play. The competition includes reigning North American Club Champion Gren-35- (Dallas Stars), 2021 North American runner-up Ez-Regs (New York Islanders), as well as three-time U.S. Regional finalist JrPens91 (Pittsburgh Penguins).

Meanwhile, the PS4 bracket also contains some familiar names from recent GWC competitions with the likes of 2021 Scotia NHL North Division runner-up, Edmonton Oilers Club winner and CHEL Intel spotlight player of the week, uninsta1l_NHL and Calgary Flames representative Geimer–.

The PlayStation Console Semifinal matches on Saturday, May 21 will be streamed live on NHL and ELEAGUE TV beginning at 12 p.m. ET.

The Xbox Series X Console saw three players advance with Maple Leaf representative Polgz and Ottawa Senators representative SAP Alien rounding out the Upper Bracket, with Seattle Kraken player CoreyPerry1 securing a spotin the Lower Bracket. CP1 will play the loser of the Upper Bracket for a trip to the North American Championship. The Final of this console will be streamed live on Saturday, May 28 beginning at 12 p.m. ET.

In the Xbox One Console Semifinals, Minnesota Wild representative Lebaneseman69 and Detroit Red Wings player Jos x 10 advanced in the Upper Bracket. The loser of that match will play Florida Panthers delegate Sauceshow in the lower bracket for a second chance to clinch a berth for the North American Championship. The Xbox One Console Final will be played on Saturday, June 18 at 12 p.m. ET.

This weekend, PlayStation competitors will square off for a chance to move onto their respective Console Finals. The semifinal matches begin at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday, May 21 on NHL and ELEAGUE TV. Brackets below:
