The Toronto Blue Jays have agreed to terms with OF Dexter Fowler on a Minor League contract with an invite to 2022 Major League Spring Training.
Fowler, 36, was limited to seven games with the Los Angeles Angels last season as a left knee injury sidelined him in April for the remainder of the campaign. The 6-5, 205 lb. switch-hitter was named an All-Star in 2016 as he helped the Chicago Cubs to a World Series title. Over the course of his 14-year career, the Atlanta native has hit .259 with a .775 OPS across 1,460 games.
