ATLANTA, Ga. – The Atlanta Dream have activated 6-4 center Iliana Rupert, the organization announced today.
Rupert (roo-PAIR) most recently helped the French National Team to a third-place finish in the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket competition, averaging 6.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in four games. She played with Dream forward Cheyenne Parker on Virtus Segafredo Bologna in the 2022-23 season, meeting Dream guard Rhyne Howard in the Serie A1 finals. In 37 games with Bologna, she averaged 13.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists.
Rupert was drafted 12th overall by the Las Vegas Aces in the 2021 WNBA Draft, where she averaged 3.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in 2022 on the way to the Aces’ WNBA Championship.
