Athletics Non-Tender RHP Dany Jiménez

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Athletics did not tender a contract to right-handed pitcher Dany Jiménez for the 2025 season, making him a free agent.

Jiménez pitched for both Triple-A Las Vegas and Oakland for the third consecutive season last year. He was 1-3 with three saves and a 4.13 ERA in 21 relief appearances with the Aviators and 1-3 with one save and a 4.91 ERA in 25 outings with the A’s. The 30-year-old right-hander held the opposition to a .223 batting average with Oakland but walked 19 batters in 25.2 innings. Jiménez is 4-9 with 13 saves and a 3.93 ERA in 86 games in four seasons in the majors with the Giants (2020) and A’s (2022-24).
