Two Minor League players suspended

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Boston Red Sox Minor League pitcher Raphy Gil, who is currently on the roster of the Dominican Summer League Red Sox, and Cleveland Guardians Minor League pitcher Abrahan Tejada, who is on the roster of the Dominican Summer League Guardians, have each received a 56-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Stanozolol, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Drug Prevention and Treatment Program for Minor League players assigned outside of the United States and Canada.
