HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Astros have added outfielder Kenedy Corona to their 40-man roster today. The deadline to protect eligible minor league players from the 2023 Rule 5 Draft is today at 5 p.m. CT.

Corona, 23, ranked by Baseball America as the Astros No. 7 prospect, batted .251 (115×459) with 21 doubles, four triples, 22 home runs, 65 RBI and a .789 OPS in 117 games this season between High A Asheville and Double A Corpus Christi.
