OAKLAND, Calif. — The Oakland A’s outrighted infielder Vimael Machín to Triple-A Las Vegas and reassigned catcher Christian Bethancourt and infielders Drew Jackson, Dalton Kelly, Christian Lopes and Eric Thames to Las Vegas, the club announced today.
The A’s now have 32 players remaining in camp, which includes 26 players on the 40-man roster (which stands at 38), five non-roster invitees and one on the suspended list. The breakdown includes 17 pitchers, three catchers, six infielders and six outfielders.
