NEW YORK – New Jersey Devils defenseman P.K. Subban has been fined $15,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for tripping Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras during NHL Game No. 142 in Anaheim on Tuesday, Nov. 2, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 3:51 of the first period.
The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
