Lucas Giolito suffered the loss despite allowing three runs (one earned) on three hits with one walk and 10 strikeouts over 6.0 IP … Giolito struck out 10-plus batters for the 15th time in his career (first in 2023), tied with Dylan Cease and Juan Pizarro for third-most in franchise history, and lowered his ERA over his last four starts to 1.50 (4 ER/24.0 IP).
