Arizona’s sports betting market posted one of its strongest months to date in June 2026, with bettors wagering approximately $663.9 million on sporting events, according to figures released by the Arizona Department of Gaming. The total represents a 22.3% increase compared with June 2025, underscoring the continued expansion of the state’s regulated wagering industry.
Privilege Fee Revenue Continues to Build in FY 2027
Consumer activity in June contributed to steady fiscal-year gains. Through the start of FY 2027, regulated event wagering and fantasy sports have generated about $3.2 million in privilege fees for the state:
- Event wagering: roughly $3.1 million
- Fantasy sports: $86,860
Privilege fees are assessed on adjusted operator revenue and support a range of state programs outlined in Arizona’s gaming statutes.
Cumulative Handle Since Legalization Nears $36 Billion
Since Arizona launched legal sports betting in 2021, bettors have wagered approximately $36.0 billion, producing about $193.7 million in privilege fees for the state. The sustained growth reflects both the maturity of the market and the continued participation of licensed operators.
