THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
• Tonight’s game marks the Kraken’s Military Appreciation Night.

o Kraken players will wear specially designed Military-inspired jerseys during warm-ups, which will then be autographed and up for auction at tonight’s Anchor Auction. Fans at home can bid online at onerooffoundation.org

o This year’s Veterans Day Specialty Kraken warm-up jersey features jersey numbers inspired by the Razzle Dazzle ship camouflage. Razzle Dazzle, created by Norman Wilkinson was implemented during World War first by the United Kingdom and then by the United States Navy. The intent of the pattern was not to hide the ship completely but to make it difficult to estimate a ship’s speed, direction, and dimensions.

• Also in attendance at tonight’s game are members of the US Women’s National Team, who have been practicing this week at Kraken Community Iceplex. They will take on Team Canada on Nov. 20 at Climate Pledge Arena for the Rivalry Series.

• Tonight’s game against the Wild is the second of six consecutive games that the Kraken will play at home, their longest such stretch of the season.

• The Kraken have scored at least three goals in each of their last 10 games dating back to Oct. 19 vs. St. Louis. Their 39 goals and 3.90 goals for per game during that span were both tied for second in the NHL entering play Thursday.

o If the team were to score at least three goals tonight, it would give them three-plus goals in 11 consecutive games for the first time in franchise history. Prior to this current run, the Kraken had never scored at least three goals in more than five consecutive games.

o The Kraken are the only team this year to score at least three goals in 10 consecutive games. Entering play Thursday, the Kraken were also the only team in the NHL to have scored three or more goals in at least 11 games.

• Jaden Schwartz has totaled four power-play goals this season, which leads the Kraken and tied for 10th in the NHL entering play Thursday. His 6.55 power-play goals per 60 minutes also ranked fifth among skaters that have played at least 15 minutes on the power play entering play Thursday.

• The Kraken are outshooting their opponents 339-309 at five-on-five this season. Their 50.9 percent shot share ranked 10th in the NHL this season entering play Thursday according to Natural Stat Trick.

• According to Natural Stat Trick, when Yanni Gourde and Brandon Tanev are on the ice together at five-on-five this season the Kraken are outscoring their opponents 7-2.

TAMING THE WILD
• Andre Burakovsky has seven points (two goals, five assists) in his last seven games against the Wild.

• Martin Jones recorded his first shutout as a Kraken in the team’s last meeting with Minnesota on Nov. 3, making 22 saves in the team’s 4-0 win.

• Jared McCann has four points (one goal, three assists) in his last four games against the Wild.

• Daniel Sprong has three points (one goal, two assists) in the two games he has played against the Wild as a member of the Kraken.

• Alex Wennberg has four points (three goals, one assist) in his last three games against Minnesota.

BIG CAT’S BIG MILESTONE
• Tonight will mark Adam Larsson’s 700th NHL game. He is set to become the 13th active, Swedish skater and the sixth player from the 2011 draft class to play in 700 NHL games.

• Entering play Thursday, Larsson, New York’s Mika Zibanejad and St. Louis’ Marco Scandella all have played in 699 career games. If both Zibanejad and Scandella played Thursday, Larsson will become the 117th active skater to play in 700 NHL games.

• Since making his Kraken debut in the team’s first-ever game on Oct. 12, 2021, Larsson has remained the only player to play in every game in franchise history.

• Larsson enters tomorrow’s matchup leading all Kraken skaters in total time on ice (324:00), time on ice per game played (23:09) and shifts per game played (26.9).

NO LOSE NOVEMBER
• The Kraken are 4-0-0 in the month of November and have won their last five games dating back to Oct. 29 vs. Pittsburgh.

• The team’s five game win streak was the third-longest active winning streak and was tied for the fourth-longest winning streak overall this season entering play Thursday.

• In the month of November, the Kraken are outscoring their opponents 17-7. Their plus-10 goal differential this month was the best in the NHL entering play Thursday.

• Entering play Thursday, the Kraken ranked second in the Pacific Division with 18 points in 14 games played. They trailed only the Vegas Golden Knights (24 points) for the division lead.

• Seattle owns an 8-4-2 record this season with their eight wins coming against the Buffalo Sabres, Calgary Flames, Colorado Avalanche, Los Angeles Kings, Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators and Pittsburgh Penguins (2). Those seven teams have combined for a 42-40-8 record, and all but the Nashville Predators (.423) and Pittsburgh Penguins (.462) have a .500 points percentage or better this season.

• A win tonight would give the Kraken wins in six consecutive games for the first time in franchise history.

• A win tonight would also make the Wild the fifth team that the Kraken have registered three wins against, having previously defeated the Buffalo Sabres, Nashville Predators, Pittsburgh Penguins and San Jose Sharks three times each.

GEEK STREAK
• A goal or an assist tonight would extend Morgan Geekie’s career-best point streak to six games. He has eight points (four goals, four assists) in his last seven games dating back to Oct. 23 at Chicago.

• His eight points during that span are tied with Andre Burakovsky and Yanni Gourde for the team lead.

• Geekie assisted on Will Borgen’s game-winning goal in the Kraken’s last game on Nov. 8 vs. Nashville. According to NHL Stats, he became the sixth player this season to factor on the game-winning goal in at least three consecutive games.

o The others to do so are Boston’s David Pastrnak, Buffalo’s Tage Thompson, New Jersey’s Jesper Bratt and Nico Hischier, and Vegas’ Jack Eichel.

• This season when Geekie is on the ice during five-on-five play, the Kraken are outscoring their opponents 11-1 according to Natural Stat Trick. His plus-10 goal differential at five-on-five this year is the best mark of any Kraken skater.

• Despite only playing in 11 games this season, Geekie enters tonight’s contest just three goals shy of matching his career high of seven goals that he set last season.

ON A ROLL
• An assist tonight would extend Yanni Gourde’s career-best assist streak to five games.

• Gourde has eight points (two goals, six assists) in his last seven games dating back to Oct. 25 vs. Buffalo.

• If he were to score tonight, Brandon Tanev would have goals in three consecutive games for the first time in his career.

• Andre Burakovsky totaled three points (one goal, two assists) – all in the first period – in the Kraken’s last game on Nov. 8 vs. Nashville, giving him eight points (two goals, six assists) in his last eight games played dating back to Oct. 23 at Chicago.

o According to NHL Stats, Burakovsky became the first player in franchise history to record three points in a single period when he did so in the first period on Nov. 8.

• Jordan Eberle scored twice in the Kraken’s last game on Nov. 8 vs. Nashville to give him six points (three goals, three assists) in his last six games dating back to Oct. 27 vs. Vancouver.

• According to Evolving Hockey, Jones has saved 4.81 goals above expected at five-on-five during that span, which ranked seventh in the NHL entering play Thursday.

• A win tonight would give Jones wins in five consecutive games for the first time since he won six straight from Nov. 5 to 16, 2019 while playing for the San Jose Sharks.

• Entering play Thursday, Jones’ seven wins were tied for the second-most in the NHL this season. Among goalies that have played in at least 10 games this season, Jones ranked sixth with a .907 save percentage and fourth with a 2.45 goals-against average entering play Thursday.

KILLING IT
• The Kraken have gone a perfect 13-for-13 on the penalty kill dating back to Oct. 29 vs. Pittsburgh. Entering play Thursday, the Kraken were one of two teams (Winnipeg) to post a 100 percent success rate on the penalty kill since Oct. 29.

• Yanni Gourde scored a shorthanded goal on Nov. 1 at Calgary, his first goal of the season. The goal gives the Kraken a plus1 goal Differential on the penalty kill dating back to Oct. 29, which was tied with Winnipeg for the league lead entering play Thursday.
