HOUSTON – The National Women’s Soccer League announced the full regular season schedule earlier today, which includes the 22-game slate for the Houston Dash. The 2022 campaign marks the NWSL’s 10th season and Houston’s ninth in the league.
The Dash open the 2022 regular season powered by Shell Energy at PNC Stadium on May 1 against expansion club San Diego Wave FC. Following the home opener, Houston will be on the road for three consecutive matches before returning to the heart of Downtown Houston for a three-game homestand which begins on May 29 against the North Carolina Courage.
The 11-match home schedule will see every team in the NWSL make the trip to Houston to take on the Dash. Marquee matchups include Portland Thorns FC visiting PNC Stadium on June 12, a Fourth of July Weekend tilt with the Kansas City Current on Friday, July 1 and a visit from former Dash midfielder Kristie Mewis and NJ/NY Gotham FC on August 17. Angel City FC, the second NWSL expansion club to start play this year, will visit Houston for the first time on September 11.
Three of the five final games Houston’s regular season will be at home against Washington, Angel City and OL Reign. The Dash will close out the regular season on the road against the reigning league champion Washington Spirit on Oct. 1 at Audi Field. This marks the second straight season that the Dash will close out the regular season on the road in the nation’s capital.

Individual-match tickets for all home matches will go on sale on April 6. The 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup begins this weekend against the Chicago Red Stars at PNC Stadium on March 20, with kick off slated for 6 p.m. CT. The six-game group stage will have Houston facing off the Kansas City Current and Racing Louisville FC in the central region group stage of the Challenge Cup. The Dash will host KC Current on March 30, and Louisville on April 24. Tickets for the Challenge Cup are available at HoustonDash.com.
The 2022 regular season will air across The CBS Television Network and CBS Sports Network and stream live on Paramount+. Twitch, the home for all internationally streamed matches, will also stream select games in the United States. Television details for regular-season matches will be shared in the coming weeks.
