CLEVELAND – Following today’s split doubleheader at Cleveland, the Chicago White Sox returned right-handed pitcher Matt Foster to Class AAA Charlotte.
Foster, 26, was designated as the 29th player for today’s games. He is 2-1 with a 6.32 ERA (26 ER/37.0 IP), one save, two holds and 40 strikeouts in 34 relief appearances over five stints with the White Sox this season.
