CHICAGO – Following today’s doubleheader vs. Toronto, the Chicago White Sox returned right-handed pitcher Jimmy Lambert to Class AAA Charlotte.
Lambert served as the 27th player for today’s games and worked 2.0 scoreless IP in the nightcap. He is 2-1 with a 6.29 ERA (17 ER/24.1 IP) and 29 strikeouts in 25 games (one start) with the White Sox this season.
Following the move, Chicago’s active roster returns to 26.
